About Me

Hi, I’m Mingze Ma — a visual effects artist specializing in environment design, look development, and cinematic storytelling.

I hold a BFA in 3D Animation from Pratt Institute and am currently pursuing an M.A. in Visual Effects at SCAD. With professional internship experience in the field, I’ve developed a strong foundation in both technical workflows and artistic expression.

My work focuses on building worlds that balance realism with mood, combining advanced 3D tools with a storyteller’s eye. Whether it’s designing a stylized landscape, crafting materials and lighting, or shaping a narrative atmosphere, I aim to create visuals that invite the audience on a journey.
